Zenith Royal 500 (1957)
(plastic tube portable radio)

Zenith Royal 500 (1957)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Do you have an example of the scarce tan Royal 500 for your collection yet? If not, don't be tempted to spend good money for a filler just to realize later that you need to upgrade it. I know your standards are high, and so are mine. That is why I am telling you that this one is as good as it gets, and I will stand behind that so there is no risk. You can trust me or request more pictures if you like, but this baby is clean inside and out with almost no sign of use. It has been stored in a felt bag so normal scratches have been avoided. The finish of the nylon cabinet and all of the metal parts are clean and shine like new. The 7ZT40 chassis plays loud and clear across the entire band. All lettering and labels are complete and clean. Inside, the battery contacts appear unused, bright chrome finish and very tight. This radio must be an example of a gift given back in the late 50's and probably was not appreciated at the time, so it got put away and forgotten. But you will appreciate it and want to keep it out to see (and hear). Truly a collector piece in pristine condition. You will love it. Based on the scarcity of this color and its condition, priced at
