| Four tube superhet BCB only. Called a 3-way because it works on AC/DC or baterries and has a "charge" function for the B cell. All Electrolytics and paper caps have been replaced. The wood portions have been repainted to match the knobs. Set plays very well with the built-in loop antenna, plenty of sensitivity and volume. The set uses the installed alkaline D cells as filament voltage for the RF/AF part of the reciever even when the set is used on AC. A NOS 117Z6 has been installed. |
