There's a great example of a mid-century, portable "picnic radio." This one is by the American appliance giant Westinghouse. Overall condition is excellent to near mint, in my estimation. Made of ivory and dark maroon colored plastics, the cabinet is in super-clean original condition. I can find no cracks or major damage, just a couple of light surface scratches/scuffs here and there. The inverted chassis is original, very clean and playing strong. DC operation has not been tested (requires vintage A/B battery combo.) but the connectors are present and all looks fine here. The handle is made of maroon "leatherette" to match the grille. Handle does show some wear; however, I think this is more from simply aging than actual use. The bi-fold instruction sheet (with the radio when I acquired it) is included. 9"W x 7-1/2"H x 5"D.
