The chairside in the 1930's became a practical alternative to the console. The 1938 Philco chairside offered is a nice example retaining most of the original finish. The grille cloth is the correct reproduction replacement. Simple lines with Art Deco style, it works with any decor. The radio has been serviced and plays well on AM but I get very little on Short Wave. 24"W x 15"W x 22-1/2"H.
