THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
The 1924 Freed-Eisemann was a neutrodyne set that advertised no howling or hissing. The five-tube set sold for $150.00. The price did not include tubes or batteries. The face panel is actually made of Formica as stated in an ad from Radio Broadcast Advertisers ca. 1923. I'm including a photo copy with the set. The cabinet retains the original finish which shows discoloration from age and light wear, but no damage. The interior is very clean and the broadcast log has never been written on. It has been tested, but I only received one station at low volume. The transformers are both good. It is offered at the 1924 price not including the 01A tubes. 28"W x 9"H x 8"D. |
