Made by Mercury Electronic Laboratories, the Micro-Vox was made from 1949 until the early 1950s. It is a pocket sized hand held AM transmitter with microphone. This wireless remote microphone would work in conjunction with any AM radio with a range up to 75 feet. There are some marks on one side caused by decades of storage next to the wiring. Otherwise it is in as new condition inside and out with no cracks or chips. It is a rare find with the original box and instructions. The box has been written on and is missing a piece of one flap. It requires a 1-1/2 volt "A" battery and a 22-1/2 volt "B" battery, not included. It is complete with factory wiring, ground clip and 958A tube. It is sold untested. 5-1/2"H x 3"W x 2"D.
