THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Long before Hugh Hefner's famous magazine, Powell Crosley had the Crosley Playboy. It is documented as a model 124 in the books, but the foil label says model 1-H. The only negative is a missing tube shield that mounts over the 24A tubes. An impressive radio that is all original including knobs, grille cloth and power cord. This is a rare find and I don't think you'll find a cleaner example inside and out. The chassis has been serviced and it plays well. Please note that if you turn the volume up real high the radio will oscillate because of the missing shield. No fold outs in this set, but I think you'll enjoy it just the same. 17"H x 16-1/2"W x 10"D. |
