| Detrola made some of the best looking radios during the 30's and this little cathedral is no exception. Cathedral sets with airplane dials are very hard to find and this one is just beautiful. The cabinet has been refinished, but it retains the original grille cloth and knobs. It is in excellent condition and it still has the paper schematic label on the base. The inlaid marquetry really makes this a striking display piece. The chassis has been serviced and it plays well. I got lots of stations on AM, but heard next to nothing on SW. Only 12"H x 7-1/2"W x 6-1/2"D. |
