Six-tube Super-Heterodyne set that receives on AM and Short-Wave. It's been restored, all of the older type capacitors have been replaced with the newer longer lasting types. Also the electrolytics have been replaced too; they are the type of parts in these old radios when they go bad they cause a terrible hum. All of the tubes have been checked out on my tube checker and any poorly performing tubes have been replaced with either new old stock or ones that tested like new. This radio performs very well. A new power cord has replaced the old one. The cabinet has been refinished to look as it did when new.
