The Philco Mystery Control was way ahead of its time; with this wireless device like your TV remote control, a radio listener of that day could dial in any pre-set radio station that they wanted, sort of like dialing one of the old type telephones. You could also dial the volume up or down, soft or loud, with it. These were manufactured for Philco's 1939 thru some of the 1942 console radios which were all top of the line deluxe hi-fidelity models. This unit is complete with all of its original parts but is untested.
