Truetone radios sold!

Truetone D-2801 (1958)
(plastic tube clock radio)

Truetone D-2801 (1958)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here's a Classic ultra-modern alarm clock radio that is turquoise and white with chrome accents. I have replaced any of the bad and poor tested tubes also replaced all of the old capacitors along with the old electrolytic capacitors so it now sounds like new and without any hum. The clock and alarm are working, too. You will notice that in the back there is an AC outlet so if you have it in the kitchen you could plug in an appliance or in another room, maybe a lamp on the clock's timer. It has a large internal coil antenna which helps it to bring in quite a few stations. The case is in pretty good condition with just a tiny quarter inch stress crack which can barely be seen in one of the additional photos. 13"W x 6"H x 6"D.
