Woolaroc 3-1A (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The Woolaroc radios were produced by Phillips 66 Petroleum Co. This nice looking radio has a sort of Art Deco streamline look to its Mahogany colored case. It's a six-tube set; it's been electronically restored and is working very well. It broadcasts on AM, has a lighted dial and tone control. Wonder where the name Woolaroc came from? It was Woolaroc, Oklahoma, where Frank Phillips of the Phillips 66 Petroleum Co. had his beloved ranch which is today 2300 acre wild life preserve. 15-1/2"W x 8"H x 6-1/2"D.
