THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is an early post war radio with a very nice original finished all solid wood case and back in good condition. This radio has been restored electronically it will serve faithfully for many more years. Five tube superheterodyne, AC/DC. It has a very different type tuning, variable inductors instead of the normal variable capacitor. Called slug tuning, it's a cam type mechanism used to move what are called slugs up and down while turning the dial indicator over a 300 degree arch. Dimensions: 15"W x 9"H x 8"D.
