SPAD French Fighter Plane Radio

This is a model of the Spad XIII 1917 World War I French fighter plane, the same plane that American Ace Eddie Rickenbacker and his "Hat in the Ring" Squadron made history flying. It was one of the major factors to the allied victory in WWI. This model all metal plane is mounted on a slate black plastic case and the base contains the transistor radio which works very well and is in good condition. It works on a 9 volt battery. Made in Japan by Waco. The base size is 7-1/4"W x 4-1/2"D x 1-1/2"H; the plane's fuselage is 6-1/2" propeller to tail; the wing span is 7-3/4".
