THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This high Art Deco tombstone shares a very effective and tested chassis with a model 167. This radio designed for display purposes and terrific reception. The radio has fancy veneers and a "sky scraper" look. The condition of the case is fair, with some finish loss, but complete and tight veneers. If you wanted to either dress out the set or refinish it, you would have a super set. Either way, you will find it all there and a simple job. The chassis is a solid playing radio, I believe from an earlier electronic service. The radio is a five tube chassis and with very fine reception. This will make a nice and cost effective addition to your collection.
