Crosley 66TW (1945)
(Bakelite tube table radio w/SW)

Crosley 66TW (1945)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This six-tube, two-band (BC+SW) Crosley certainly has one of largest, boldest dials of any table model radio in the 1940s. Lighted by two bulbs, it really is impressive in the dark! And the Bakelite cabinet is among the largest too. The cabinet is crack free but due to multiple chips in the paint it was stripped and nicely repainted in its original almond white enamel. All electrolytic and paper caps have been replaced, tubes tested strong, controls were cleaned and lubricated. Plays loud and strong, receiving all of my local stations with a powerful built in loop antenna. Or use the 3.5mm cord to play your own content. Nice clear dial cover (what you see in the pictures are shadows from the overhead lights). Nice original back cover, too. This big heavy radio will be the focal point of any room. 14-1/2"W x 9-3/4"H x 8-1/2"D.
