Grunow 640 (1935)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Grunow 640 (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Apparently, this is the first example of this six-tube, three-band tombstone offered on Radio Attic. Receives AM broadcasts along with shortwave and police bands. Chassis was restored with all new capacitors, resistors checked and replaced as needed, a strong set of tested tubes, new cloth covered line cord. New grille cloth. Controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. Plays strong across the dial with an attached wire antenna. The cabinet had some serious veneer damage, and the previous owner did a respectable job of bringing it back. However, some rippling on the side and a couple of cracks on the top radius remain. This set does not feature my usual 3.5mm aux cord. 19"H x 13-1/2"W x 10"D.
