THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
First time on Radio Attic for this model! As the original advertising for this radio said in 1940; "Continental styling and stripe mahogany veneer are blended to create a strikingly beautiful instrument." And that striking cabinet finish is all original, too, with just some minor blemishes consistent with being 84 years of age. The six-tube chassis features five pre-set push-buttons that can be set to your local stations (the 6th button on the right must be pushed in for dial tuning). It really pulls in the stations, too, with its powerful built in loop antenna! It's been gone through with all new filter and paper capacitors, strong tested set of tubes, controls cleaned and lubricated. In lieu of my usual 3.5mm aux cord, it features a built-in RCA jack for streaming your own content or for a phonograph attachment. 14"W x 10"H x 7"D. |
