Emerson 541 (1947)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson 541 (1947)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Beautiful example of this iconic and popular five-tube Emerson. The cabinet, designed by Raymond Loewy (French born American industrial designer) sometimes called the "Moderne," has been refinished using spray toners and topped with a light coat of clear enamel for durability. The marbled faux wood grain finish on the bottom panel is still in very nice condition as is the usually hopelessly yellowed dial. A strong tested set of tubes, it has been recapped, aligned, controls cleaned/lubricated, & new line cord installed. Sounds great with its built-in loop antenna. 12"W x 8"H x 7"D.
