Belmont 5DA1 (1942)
(plastic tube table radio)

Belmont 5DA1 (1942)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

First time on Radio Attic for this early WW2 five-tube, slug tuned set. The chassis on this one has a good, tested set of tubes, it has been recapped, and the controls cleaned/lubricated, so it plays loud and strong across the dial with its built-in antenna + long wire if needed for more distant reception. Beautiful flowing lines on this natural finish, crack-free cabinet that really pops with a rich marble swirl pattern. Original dial cover is still crystal clear (there's a reflection from the over-head lighting on some of the pictures). Original back cover, too. This set is a time capsule! 12"W x 7-3/4"H x 6"D.
