THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This was the first year of production on this popular and venerable five-tube Philco Transitone, although the initial production run was shortened due to the war. The model would continue on after the war, however, from 1946 through 1949. The chassis on this one has a strong tested set of tubes, it has been recapped, aligned, controls cleaned/lubricated, so it plays loud and strong across the dial with its built-in loop antenna. The natural finish, crack-free cabinet really pops with a rich marble swirl pattern. A new dial cover and back cover completes the restoration. 10"W x 6-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.
