THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This somewhat rare six-tube RCA (the only other one on Radio Attic sold in 2011), is another one of those time capsule sets, retaining its original finish on the cabinet and the original grille cloth, too! An exceptional cabinet design, with beautiful inlay veneers of different patterns that cannot be replicated accurately by refinishing. There are a few minor blemishes consistent with is 84-year age, but overall, it is a remarkably well-preserved example. The chassis has been gone through with all new wax and filter capacitors, a strong tested set of tubes. Eye tube is at least 70% bright and very responsive! Requires a long-wire antenna for distant reception (or use the built in RCA jack on the back of the chassis to stream your own audio). Another set that was in my own personal collection for a number of years. Time to let someone else enjoy it! 19"W x 10-1/4"H x 9"D.
