This is another set for those who like original finish cabinets. This one is a remarkably well preserved 86-year-old time capsule. It retains the original RCA Victor decal and factory silver colored pinstripe inlays! All labels are intact on the chassis, which features a strong set of correct metal tubes. This set has been in my collection for a number of years and because the chassis is the same as the model 87T, I turned this 86T1 into an 87T chassis by adding the magic green eye tube! So what was originally a six-tube chassis is now a seven-tube! The chassis has been gone through with all new wax and filter capacitors, and all out of tolerance resistors replaced. Eye tube is nice and bright and very responsive! Requires a long-wire antenna for distant reception (or use the 3.5 mm cable to stream your own audio). 16-3/4"W x 11-3/4"H x 9-3/4"D.
