Stewart-Warner R-167-AS (1936)
(wood tube table radio w/Ingraham cabinet)
Stewart-Warner R-167-AS (1936)
NEW!I offer a quantity discount on my radios, so check out my other listings and drop me a line if you're interested in more than one. This Art Deco inspired set features an Ingraham designed cabinet including the brass tag of "Stewart-Warner Craft-Built Cabinet." Beautiful back-lit dial that really pops in a dark room with a solid brass escutcheon surrounding it. Five tubes on this primitive design circuit with the volume control connected directly to the antenna (meaning no AVC). It receives AM and the old Police band, receiving all of my local stations with its long wire antenna (need an antenna attached for more distant reception). Comes with a set of tubes that tested strong, all new paper and filter capacitors, and a new line cord. Cabinet has been refinished using spray toners and topped with a light coat of clear enamel for durability. 14-1/4"W x 9-3/4"H x 8-3/4"D.  $229.00. (1790151)
