Zenith 5-S-319 "Racetrack" (1939)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Zenith 5-S-319 "Racetrack" (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I offer a quantity discount on my radios, so check out my other listings and drop me a line if you're interested in more than one. A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug into the headphone port of your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio. Here's one of the highly sought after, gold dial Zenith "Racetrack" models. This five-tube set looks much larger in photos. It's surprisingly compact yet retains the quality and style of the much larger late-30's Zeniths that are all collector favorites. It has been recapped, aligned, tubes tested strong, controls cleaned & lubricated, so it plays loud and clear, receiving all of my local stations. For best results to receive more distant stations, its long wire should be attached to an antenna source. Cabinet has been refinished using correct multi-shade spray toners and topped off with a light coat of clear enamel for durability. If you've always wanted to add one of these "bucket list" Zenith's to your collection, here's a nice budget-priced example. Only 13"W x 9"H x 8"D.
