A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. Nice little compact five-tube Sears Roebuck catalog radio with a rather pretty lighted "airplane" dial. Receives AM and short wave. The long wire antenna needs to be attached to an external antenna to receive stations. The chassis has a strong tested set of tubes, it has been recapped, aligned, controls cleaned/lubricated. Has a brand-new power transformer ($60 value). The cabinet was completely stripped and refinished using color spray toners and topped off with a light coat of clear enamel for durability. 11-3/4"W x 8"H x 7"D.
