Bendix 111 (1949)
(plastic tube table radio)
Bendix 111 (1949)
NEW!I offer a quantity discount on my radios (ex: Take any two radios priced at $129 each for $240, shipping is not included). A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug into your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio. This stylish Bendix model has long been popular among collectors. The cabinet wraps around the chassis so it's totally enclosed. Five tubes, the chassis has a strong tested set of tubes, it has been recapped, aligned, controls cleaned/lubricated, so it plays loud and strong across the dial with its built-in loop antenna. The cabinet had a missing piece broken out of the bottom left corner that was replaced and repaired as best as could be. The cabinet was painted in a rich maroon with caramel-colored knobs that accent the painted brass surrounded dial scale. The paint has some minor blemishes but it still is a beautiful radio that presents well. 11"W x 7-1/2"H x 8"D.  $129.00. (1790121)
