Philco 42-PT95 (1942)
(wood tube table radio)

Philco 42-PT95 (1942)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I offer a quantity discount on my radios. (ex: Take any two radios priced at $129 each for $240, shipping is not included). A Bluetooth/MP3 player 3.5mm cord has been installed for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts. You can plug into your device and enjoy the music of your choice through the radio. This model 42-PT95 Transitone was among the last civilian radios Philco offered before production ceased for the duration of WW2. If you're a fan of the 1980's Newhart TV series, Bob had a similar model behind his desk in his office/den (his was a post-war 47-204 Philco) The chassis has a strong tested set of tubes, it has been recapped, aligned, controls cleaned/lubricated, so it plays loud and strong across the dial with its built-in loop antenna. The cabinet was completely stripped and refinished using rich color spray toners, freshly painted trim, and topped off with a light coat of clear enamel for durability. Original back cover & wood carrying handle. 13"W x 8-1/4"H x 7"D.
