Philco 41-245 (1941)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Philco 41-245 (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This seven-tube tombstone styled Philco is the table model version of the 41-265 console. Three bands (AM/SW/Police) plus push-button presets (the first button on the left is for off/on), and each band has its own red indicator light on the right side of the dial. A strong performer on AM with its wire loop antenna, SW is more active at night. Strong tested tubes, all capacitors have been replaced, resistors checked & replaced as needed. New line cord. Controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. Cabinet finish was treated with Howard's, and a light coat of enamel applied but remains all original with a few minor blemishes. The usually hopelessly warped Tenite escutcheon is still relatively straight. Dial glass has no graphic loss. Grille cloth is original as are all knobs, pushbuttons and cabinet decals. 16"W x 12"H x 9-1/2"D.
