Grunow 460 (1934)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Grunow 460 (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This "Living Tone" Grunow tombstone is a lot of radio in a little package. It's a small four-tube non-AVC superhet circuit receiving AM only. It requires an external antenna to receive beyond strong local stations but is a real powerhouse with a proper antenna connected due to its large 7-inch speaker. All capacitors have been replaced along with the resistors. New power transformer, new cloth line cord. Controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. Cabinet finish and wood knobs appear to be original. A true time capsule from 88 years ago! Just 13"H x 10-1/2"W x 7"D.
