Arvin 540 (1951)
(metal tube table radio)

Arvin 540 (1951)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a little metal midget four-tube basic AM radio housed in a metal cabinet. The same chassis in this radio was used in Arvin's Hopalong Cassidy radio. It's been recapped and gone through with good tubes, new line cord, etc to make it play as well as can be expected for its primitive design. Needs to have the long wire antenna extended for reception beyond the strong local stations. Cabinet was repainted in the original Coral color. New back cover. Just 8"W x 5-1/2"H x 4"D.
