(wood tube table radio)

Trav-Ler 521 (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Four-tube plus ballast TRF set that's surprisingly sensitive. Receives AM and the now defunct Police bands. This same chassis was used in several different cabinet designs. Features a striking domed glass dial that really pops in the dark. Radio was completely serviced with all new capacitors and the out of tolerance resistors. Tubes test strong, ballast is working as it should. New line cord, cabinet refinished, new grille cloth. If you're looking for a nice compact wood cabinet radio from the 1930's, here's one to consider. 12"W x 8"H x 6-3/4"D.
