| Art Deco styled compact four-tube regenerative which is far better on looks than performance. Filter caps and out of tolerance resistors replaced. New reproduction grille cloth and dial. Cabinet was nicely refinished, however the previous owner sanded off the Philco faux finish on the front and back panels. So I recreated as best I could the faux finish on the front using various toners, a little magic and a lot of luck! These little four-tubers require a long long-wire antenna to receive much. Since the volume control is part of the antenna, the higher the volume the stronger the station comes in. They are finicky! 12"W x 8-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D. |
