THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a rare model whose grille is reminiscent of the old drive-in theater speakers. The chassis has been cleaned and totally restored with all capacitors, electrolytics, weak tubes, and pilot light replaced. The exquisitely burled walnut Bakelite cabinet has been hand polished and is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, breaks or hairlines. Its dial, knobs and back panel are all original. New replacement dial lens and power cord. This five-tube superheterodyne set is a strong player that now picks up all my local stations loud and clear across the AM dial. You'll likely wait a long time to find another example in such excellent shape. Ready to display and play! Another great radio from my personal, smoke-free collection. About 9-1/4"W x 6"H x 5"D. |
