THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a beautiful example of the seldom seen 07-514-H from 1938. A small wood radio with big Art Deco design, its Ingraham wood cabinet with stylish wraparound grille and amazing sled design was made of both stump and striped walnut with maple inlay. Now, after 84 years, the cabinet has a wonderful patina. It is all-original including its Stewart-Warner logo, grille cloth, volume knob, and tuning knob whose pointer lights up nicely in the dark. Only the power cord is a period-correct replacement. It has been fully restored with all electrolytics and weak tubes replaced by the previous owner so this powerful seven-tube Superheterodyne with external antenna now picks up all my local stations loud and clear across the entire AM dial. Ready to display and play! Another great radio from my personal smoke-free collection. About 9-1/2"W x 6-3/4"H x 6-1/4"D. |
