Emerson CL-256 "Stradivarius" w/Ingraham Cabinet (1939)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson CL-256 "Stradivarius" w/Ingraham Cabinet (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The Emerson "Stradivarius" with "D" dial in tiger stripe Birdseye Maple has to be one of the most gorgeous cabinets Ingraham ever made. Its violin shape with acoustic cutouts and contoured grille bars resembling violin strings are incomparable. Don't miss your chance to add one of the finest examples of this radio to your collection that I've ever encountered. The radio has been cosmetically restored back to its original beauty and its stunning wood/veneers are perfect. The set still retains its original metal Ingraham tag on the bottom and its original black Bakelite knobs. The gold painted metal dial is original and lights up beautifully in the dark. The plastic dial lens and back panel are exact replacements. It has a new power cord. The chassis has had a complete restoration with all tubes tested and replaced with new old stock. All capacitors have been replaced, aligned and wires replaced. All contacts cleaned and moving parts lubricated. Speaker is original and in excellent condition. All my local stations come in loud and clear across the AM dial with the pigtail antenna provided. Another great radio from my personal, smoke-free collection. About 10-1/2"W x 6-1/4"H x 4-1/2"D.
