| The Philco D-595-124 is a very obscure Atomic Age radio, particularly in this more desirable cranberry (not painted) Styrene cabinet. Manufactured in 1956, this five-tube radio has been totally restored inside and out. All parts have been cleaned and lubed, all caps and weak tubes have been replaced, the grill assembly was removed and, along with the cabinet and knobs, hand polished. The case is immaculate with no hairlines, cracks or chips. The knobs and back panel are original. Having just been completely restored inside and out, it is a real player that picks up my local stations loud and clear across the entire AM dial loud. This rare Atomic Age radio would make a great addition to any collection. Ready to display and play! Another great radio from my personal smoke-free collection. About 10"W x 6"H x 5-1/2"D. |
