THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This rare Swiss-made radio is rarely seen in the US, and it's even more rare to find one that works! This almost 90-year old set has been totally restored inside and out and now picks up my local AM stations across the dial with help from the supplied external antenna. A new electrical cord with a period-correct Bakelite on/off switch and plug have been added. The left knob controls the volume. The right knob was once used to pick up long distance stations. Its original grille cloth is in mint shape. Its base and marbled domed cabinet with Bakelite front have been refinished to their original luster. I originally obtained it from a collector in Poland. It is a substantial set. Schematic included with purchase. See copy of original ad in French. Another great radio from my personal, smoke-free collection. About 18"H x 15-1/2"W x 8-1/2"D.
