THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Introduced in August 1939, this little wooden gem is one of the most beautiful examples of Art Deco design ever made by Philco. The walnut finish on this cabinet is original, and is in excellent condition. The great dial and brown Tenite trim (often found warped) are in perfect condition. It has its original knobs, back, handle and label on the bottom. The radio has two bands, AM and the old SW police band. Serviced by the previous owner, the radio is playing fine picking up all local stations clearly. This model was in five trim versions: ivory, red, blue, green and brown, all originally priced at $16.95. Only 1,297 were made in brown trim. Another great radio from my personal, smoke-free collection. About 9"W x 6"H x 6"D.
