This 1938 Zenith 9-S-262 console features the famous Zenith "robot" or shutterdial. It has motorized tuning and plays well on broadcast and both shortwave bands. The chassis has been electronically restored with all new capacitors and out of tolerance resistors. It is equipped with a nice green tuning eye tube. The cabinet has been refinished using period correct toning lacquers, semi gloss clear coat and new grille cloth. The speaker has the original "beehive" acoustic adapter to strengthen bass response. An aux input can be added at no charge. You can own this beautiful radio today! |
