Genuine cowhide leather case and handle. Radio plays and takes a 9V battery. 1957 AM broadcast band. The five-transistor TR6 is not well known, but quite collectable because it has a 4-inch speaker and an all leather case. It followed the TR1 by only one or two years, making it one of of the earliest transistors. Regency, instead of using a 22.5V battery, decided to go with the 9V battery which became the industry standard. 6-7/8"W x 5"H x 3"D. |
