Made in 1960/61 out of unbreakable nylon, thus no cracks, breaks or chips. This eight-transistor long distance radio is two tone in Ivory and rust-orange. The Zenith insignia shield is on the front gold panel between the on/off volume and tuning knobs. The clear knobs encase the on/off volume and tuning knobs with black writing. Civil defense marks are present. Royal 500 LG is on the front metal panel. The raised zenith brand is on the honeycombed lower portion. The gold metal perforated speaker grille is center nippled by design. Has metal swing handle. Take four "AA" batteries. Does not play.
