This Ivory Plaskon radio from 1953 has an unusual lighted tuning rod. When the radio is turned on you see a point of light that moves as the tuning knob is turned. The radio plays well. The clock also operates well. No cracks, chips or hairlines. The radio has lots of volume and picks up many stations across the dial. Has volume knob and a tuning knob on the right side. The clock has a on/off knob at the top. The center knob adjusts the time and pulling it out turns on the alarm. The bottom knob is the sleep timer. Has the original back with antenna. The bottom has the original label. |
