Philip Morris cigarette novelty radio. Very rare example of a late 1950's promotional radio. Manufactured in Japan. Five tubes with auto-transformer, AM only. There is a glass fuse to switch line voltage. Designed to operate on 120V or 240V AC, to market it in Europe or the United States. Radio has been electronically restored only. The cabinet is all original, and except for some very minor flaws, and considering its age, is in very good condition. The radio plays very nicely. It has a factory phono plug and switch to operate an external device. 13"H x 9"W x 5"D. |
