When I first started collecting, I visited a long-time collector who had a lot of radios. The one that stood out the most was a dramatic black & white General Television 5A5. So naturally I added this one to my collection as soon as I found it. It has a black Bakelite case, and I believe the trim is made of ivory Plaskon. There are no cracks or repairs. This one lights up and plays with good volume. Surprisingly, there aren't very many black & white radios, so this cute one is a good way to add this color combination to a collection. Small at about 9"W x 6"H x 6"D.
