DeWald H-533 (1954)
(Plaskon tube clock radio)

DeWald H-533 (1954)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is another of my Collector Grade, Mid-Century, somewhat rare DeWald Model H-533 "Pixie" & one of the true midget tube radios to come out in mid-Century era. So small it can easily be held in the palm of your hand & that it does as it is about 7"W x 4"H x 4"D. I believe it to be a first time listing of this model on the Attic. It is Plaskon (not painted) and has absolutely no stresses as is sometimes prevalent in Plaskon & shows no wear, no cracks, no repairs, etc. It sports original knobs & even near perfect factory complete back along with complete factory tag (schematic + warranty info) on bottom of case. The beautiful clock keeps perfect time & runs quietly as it should. I would rate it a 9.5 on 10 scale. Beautiful glossy alabaster color & fancy shiny case is in perfect cosmetic condition. No repairs were necessary as there were zero cosmetic issues. It is in perfect condition & ready for play/display. I rate it a 9.5 on 10 scale (flawless). The radio has been recapped, gone completely thru by a professional, and is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations & beyond. Only weight couple of lbs., so should ship rather cheaply. I pack very well. This highly collectable little gem is just 7"W x 4-1/4"H x 4-1/4"D.
