Emerson CR-262 (1939)
(wood tube table radio w/Ingraham cabinet)

Emerson CR-262 (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is one of the smallest Ingraham cabinets that I know of (9"W x 6"H x 5"D) and this midget Emerson is in great original condition with excellent patina and swirled burly or wavy Maple wood. Take note of the rounded edges on cabinet which gives it a "convex" look & then the cabinet protrudes inward giving it a "concave" offset appearance which is very unusual design and makes it even cooler. I'll let the pics do the talking. Most collectors prize these thirties radios in the Ingraham cabinets, mainly due to the craftsmanship and the elaborate use of fine veneers were second to none. The five-tube set was recently restored electronically & is playing very well picking up all my local AM stations. The Ingraham label is on the bottom. The knobs are original, and the case has a replacement back on it. A really beautiful example of this particular model. 9"W x 6"H x 5"D.
