General Electric C406 (1958)
(plastic tube clock radio)

General Electric C406 (1958)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here we have a beautiful 1958 General Electric C406 Atomic Clock AM Radio Pink/Black clock face in near Mint condition. This model, especially in this color combination you don't see very often, yet were the most popular flash back colors of the era along with aqua. Very nice trapezoidal shape radio with a clock still running after these past 64 years. The shiny radio cabinet is clean with no damage or chip with some very, very, light scratches (have to look for them closely; won't show in pics, hardly worth mentioning, but I did). The clock runs smooth and quiet, the toggle switches work fine with no issue, dial cover has no damage. The dial knobs and lettering are in good shape with no cracks or melted, the knobs is still intact with shiny "brights." Unrestored by me, but radio plays well picking up all my locals & beyond. It is sure to be an eye-catcher in any setting, especially Mid-Century décor. Don't let it slip away to that other guy. The radio will be safely packed and quickly sent with tracking #. 11"W x 6"H x 5"D.
