Westinghouse H549T5 (1955)
(plastic tube clock radio)

Westinghouse H549T5 (1955)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here's another Mid-Century color gem from my collection. Seldom seen or offered for sale (1st time on the Attic I think). Sea Mist Green Westinghouse Model H549T5, AM Clock Radio with CD marks. In excellent+ cosmetic and working condition. Original factory molded color, all original. Both clock and radio work very well with no distortions. Near perfect, tho there are two very tight stresses along back edge (have to look for them, see last pic) parallel to the the two top vent holes on very top, back. Hardly worth mentioning, but they are there. The radio works very strong across the dial picking up all my locals and beyond. Clock motor is very quiet and all functions well. All three original little clock knobs are still present. These often go missing over the years. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. No stress fractures, yellowing, or major scratches to the front clock panel. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering nor of the Westinghouse paint from raised logo. This radio is 67+ years old, but had a mod look! Bottom factory labels are mostly intact. Approximately 10"W x 7"H x 5"D.
