THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is an unusual shaped little Mid-Century Zenith with lots of eye appeal with waterfall ends, slanted feet and waffle grille with "Z" metal tag right in middle of the grille & "Zenith" written on grille between the knobs, "ZENITH" embossed into handle and "Zenith" stamped on the back and two factory tags. There's no doubt it's a Zenith. The "R" in the model # denoted red, but there were no red (just dark red/burgundy). The The case is flawless with no damage like cracks, chips or hairline cracks and is free of any scratches. Looks like it just came out of the box. And it has its original back in place. Totally original in every way including knobs, handle, speaker, back, etc. The original hardboard back is still in great condition and uses the original loop antenna system which eliminates the need for external antenna. Nice original almond Zenith handle and matching knobs with perfect "brights." The clean, rust-free chassis has been checked by a tech, and the set is playing very well, picking up all my local AM stations. Cool 1950's retro Zenith weighs approx. 3-1/2 lbs; 11"W x 5-1/2"H x 5-1/2"D.
